# Rainge

> Rainge is a range companion for iPhone, in a free TestFlight beta. Prop your phone behind you at the driving range and hit. Rainge checks your swing against sound fundamentals at the positions that matter, gives you one focus for your next few balls, and tells you after every set whether you're getting closer. Over time it proves the change against your own swing. It isn't a launch monitor, a swing analyzer or a replacement for your pro.

The tagline is "Make every bucket count". The practice loop is Swing, Understand, Improve: hit a few balls at a time with one focus and one swing thought to try, see where the swing breaks down against sound fundamentals, and keep the focus until it sticks, with proof it changed.

- Platform: iPhone (iOS). Status: a small TestFlight beta; join the waitlist at https://rainge.app/#join.
- Price: free during the beta. The coach may become a paid feature later; the free app will still read your swings and your sets.
- Privacy: swings are read on the phone, and video is never uploaded. When you ask the coach, it sees your numbers, never your video or images; stills leave the phone only if you share them to another chat app yourself.
- Filming: hands-free, down the line (from behind, on your hand line). Face-on videos are kept but not graded.
